About the App
Zheng YiBiao ("the App") is an on-device phone speed dashboard (V1.0). You can choose from multiple dashboard templates and, after granting location access, view live speed from system location services (km/h or mph), with Chinese/English UI and light/dark themes. The App does not offer trip logging, history, OBD, sensor panels, driving scores, sign-in, or cloud sync.

1. Information We Collect
The App does not actively collect names, phone numbers, accounts, or other identifiers, and does not upload your data to any server.
Permissions (only if you grant them):
- Location (approximate/precise) — to read current speed via system location services (including GPS and network-assisted location) and show it on the dashboard. We do not record or upload trip routes or location history. Without permission you can still browse templates and settings, but live speed is not shown.
The App does not:
- Collect, upload, or share unrelated data such as trips, contacts, or your photo library
- Integrate advertising, analytics, push, or cross-app tracking SDKs
- Continuously sync speed or location data over the network in the background
- Use simulated speed or fake location data for display
2. Local Storage
The following is stored only on your device (e.g. SharedPreferences) to restore your preferences:
- Dashboard template and speed unit (km/h / mph)
- Theme (light / dark / system) and language (Chinese / English / system)
- Privacy policy acceptance and first-run theme onboarding completion
The App has no registration, sign-in, or membership accounts. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its storage/data in system App info, removes this local data. You can open this Privacy Policy anytime from in-app Settings.
3. Third-Party SDKs
The App does not integrate ad, analytics, push, map, or social SDKs. The UI uses Android and Jetpack Compose open-source libraries for local functionality only; they do not upload your personal information on behalf of the App.
4. Driving Safety
⚠️ Do not operate your phone while driving. Speed shown comes from system location and is for reference only; it does not replace factory instruments, road signs, or your own judgment. You bear the risks of relying on this display.
5. Children
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Minors should use the App with guardian consent and supervision.
6. Policy Updates
We may update this policy when features or laws change. Updated versions ship with app releases and remain available under Settings → Privacy Policy.
